Black Belt Training

TDO’s Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training Program offers a unique combination of in-depth classroom training, personal coaching, and project application to take participants’ Lean Six Sigma skills to the Black Belt level. Participants will learn by doing – and from each other – in this highly interactive training program.

Black Belts are highly trained practitioners possessing the technical knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate breakthrough improvements in key processes supporting the overall business strategy and operational goals of their organization. TDO’s Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training develops technical leaders capable of propelling their respective organizations toward best-in-class status by reducing cost, improving cycle times, eliminating defects, eliminating variation, and significantly increasing customer satisfaction.

Through the program, participants also hone their ability to develop Lean Six Sigma skills in others. To ensure participants have all the right tools available, the course integrates Basic Design for Lean Six Sigma (DMADV) and Kaizen Leader Training as part of the course roadmap. Two optional sessions for Minitab training are also offered.

Understanding the Roles of a Sponsor & Champion

This program will provide an overview of the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology for the senior leadership team and project champions. It will focus on the leadership and teambuilding strategies critical to sustaining improvements. Leaders will learn and apply a framework for strategically selecting the most critical process improvement initiatives. The result will be a prioritized list of projects for the green belt teams to focus on during LSS deployment.
