The Central New York Technology Development Organization (TDO) has promoted Cindy Oehmigen to MEP Center Director. As the Director of TDO’s NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) center and NYSTAR’s Regional Technology Development Center (RTDC), Cindy leads the organization’s team supporting growth of manufacturing and technology businesses in Central New York. Cindy has been with TDO for 9 years. Prior to that, she held management positions in manufacturing, engineering and healthcare with Allis-Chalmers, Cooper Crouse Hinds, Carrier Corporation and Loretto. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Management Engineering from the University of Iowa and a Masters in Business Administration from Syracuse University.
TDO has added two new employees; Mark Finke as Senior Project Manager and Bob Kocik as Project Engineer.
Mark works with TDO clients to design, manage, and implement lean manufacturing and workforce development initiatives. Prior to joining TDO, Mark held management positions with Eastman Kodak, Palmer Food Services, and ReckittBenckiser. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Biology from SUNY Geneseo, a PhD in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University, and a Masters of Education from Roberts Wesleyan College.
Bob Kocik, Project Engineer, leads the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and workforce training initiatives for CNY manufacturers. Bob’s 19 years of manufacturing experience includes leadership positions with PPC, New Process Gear, and Service Merchandise. Bob has a degree in Science Business Administration from Columbia College and holds certifications for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Supervisory Leadership, and OSHA HAZWOPER. He is also a TWI Institute Certified trainer for the Training Within Industry (TWI) Job Safety Program.
